Twitter 好玩嗎?

Did you have fun with Twitter?

星期二的分享會, 我們玩了兩個twitter遊戲 . In this warm-up game on Tuesday sharing session, we administered two games – hangman and date guess of a library event. Some of our participants played on-site in the e-Lab while others communicated with us from their office. Many of us were engrossed in the games. The word for hangman was a simple word, yet surprisingly difficult to guess. It took us quite some time to figure out what it is. The date guess seems a bit easier. Participants were able to swiftly nail down to a particular month and then the date.

星期四安排了真正的twitter遊戲. Each of the real twitter games on Thursday was completed within half an hour. This probably reflects that colleagues, having gone through the warm-up games, have mastered their twitter skills. And, apparently, this also shows that colleagues are familiar with the library and are aware of library events. If you would like to know who the winners are, please visit http://twitter.com/memory_hkul, or check out your Google Reader where you have set up the RSS for this twitter account.

Through playing the twitter games last week, we hope you’ve become more familiar with what microblogging is. Twitter is fun to use. Yet it also serves a practical communication tool for you to quickly send or receive updates.

We will be moving on to Week 3, which will focus on 3 Google products. The tools are very practical and will help facilitate you to share different kinds of information. So, have a nice week ahead!
